Benefits of the program.

Writeful Justice(TM) is a 3-5 month program designed to give participants opportunities to earn official bylines in leading news/cultural publications, build a professional writing portfolio before graduating high school (let alone college), and boost their confidence as they find their voice.

How the program works.

School leaders who license this curriculum may include it in classroom instruction or after-school programming. Our unit and lesson plans are meant to supplement the academic intervention services you provide to students for English Language Arts courses.

Parents may also license this curriculum for homeschooling. It is a hands-on, culturally-relevant alternative to generic reading and writing coursework, giving your child tangible experience writing for the purpose of becoming a socially conscious author or journalist.

Note: in-person training is available in the U.S. only.

What makes Writeful Justice unique?

Mentorship from industry professionals (e.g. journalists and book authors).

Official bylines in notable news publications, magazines, and anthologies.

Tangible professional portfolio to use for competitive applications to colleges and jobs.

A focus on writing about issues that impact marginalized communities.

Lesson plans designed by a former teacher and published author/journalist.
